Only need about half/quarter the size of a pea smack-dab in the center of the CPU.
Arctic Silver is my go-to. I also use Arctic Silver Thermal Compound Remover and Surface Purifier as well.

Because Intel were idiots. They should have used some cut-down Skylake-X chips.
