Start donating money to the government and then I'll think they actually care. Otherwise this is just a PR, feel good stunt that gives them tax benefits, imo.
These same billionaires are the ones that will come tax talk, talk about how people need to pay more taxes and hell even warren buffet said he wishes he paid more taxes. Guess being a billionaire doesn't make him smart enough to know he can pay more taxes if he wants. That is an option. It lets you.
But of course they never pay a dime more for taxes. Yet they constantly donate to charities that decrease their taxes. Why do they try to pay as little as possible for taxes when at the same time they are telling everyone else that we should pay more taxes cause of all the good things the government does with the money.
