Not an option is the same as not feasible. I mean it is clear that it's certainly possible but the amount of work and visual downgrades aren't worth it for them.
Sony said they went around and asked developers when designing the PS4. It looks like none of the developers wished for a CPU, or maybe Sony ignored it.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
