So what kind of games do you want them to make? Their 1st party isn't all about cinematic games. Stuff like Journey, Dreams, The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush, Bound, Everybody's Golf, Housemarque titles, that's Sony too. I guess they just dont register as much in your memory because they dont get big marketing campaigns and hype cycles like their yuuuge triple A titles. Also, Playstation's strength never came from 1st party alone. Sony's 1st party hasn't been this strong, ever, not even during the PS2 era, but its strength has always been its variety of 1st and 3rd party games. It has games like Overwatch, if you can play it on other platforms, so what? It doesn't take away from PS4's variety. You make it sound like if a game is non-exclusive, it should be skipped on PS4.
And Ueda isn't gone, he just delivered The Last Guardian, what other platform gives you experiences like his games? None, he's 2nd party now, still able to design games for the PS brand. Sony has a penchant for auteurs like him, thats why TLG wasn't cancelled. He'll continue making games with the new arrangement, he designs and Sony handles development.
About Liverpool, WipEout Omega is here, maybe if you show support they'll see there's demand and make another one in the future.
The only thing I think is missing from Sony's line up is an arcade racer, if they only could bring Motorstorm back, Pacific Rift in current gen tech, jaws will drop. And maybe Jak 4 by Sanzaru or Bluepoint.
