It's good that Sony(and their Japanese partners) keep scoring by being a very traditional games company. They really seem to know what hardcore Playstation enthusiasts want: blockbuster AAA games, Japanese games, the right kind of remasters, remakes, and localizations, and sign gaming's greatest auteurs (Hideo Kojima, Yu Suzuki).

Who else does passion projects like The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2, on top of pumping out AAA titles? Who else would bring Yakuza overseas? Certainly not Reggie, he waited on Europe and see how it sold there before bringing it to America.

Sony keeps on delivering, they don't have a exec like Phil Spencer making empty statements about how important 1st party is, and then the output gets worse each year.

Sony's SP focus doesn't hinder you from playing MP games on their platform. It's not a zero sum game. This is what's great about PS4, it has everything.  I can play Uncharted, Horizon and then switch to FF14, Overwatch or Titanfall 2.

PS4 has the most diverse games library of the current gen and saying it's only delivering cinematic experiences is just ignorant.

A few other people have made the incorrect assumption that I'm complaining about Sony's cinematic pretensions because I favor multiplayer experiences. That's not the case. I much prefer single-player content. I just value player agency, and the demands of cinematic storytelling by nature chip away at player agency. 

I'm aware of the diversity on PS4 and PSV. I acknowledged it above in my reply to Zekk. I regularly play both systems. I beat Metro Redux last night on PS4 and I'm downloading Tokyo Xanadu on PSV as I write. No need to call me ignorant. My tastes are just different from yours. That's all.

Then why are you drifting away from Playstation? It's not all about cinematic games on PS4.
