Actually, rewatching the ad, the line is "your worst nightmare has arrived". First Crash. Additionally, the PS controller would not get thumbsticks until after the release of SM64 and the N64 controller's introduction in 1996, same year first Crash released.

Good spot.  They were obviously very confident in their product to make an advert like this for the first game of the series.
