It's not reliably achieving 4k regardless if it is 30fps or 60fps either though.
Fact is... Affordable technology doesn't exist yet to even have a 4k, 30fps console yet. Scorpio is using a low-end CPU, with a mid-range GPU and only 12GB of Ram.

Next gen it might end up being possible, but even then it could be a struggle, we will have to wait and see.

As for Vega, I would hope next gen uses something that isn't old and outdated.

I agree technology isnt afforable yet. This machine is the best thing we could buy for $499.

However remember a 6tf machine is rendering 1.3tf games. These games arent being made up from scratch using Pro or X1X hardware. Rendering 4k is actually easy. Its up to the Devs if they want true 4k or dail it back to add in some effects which might benefit the games more. Which is what we are seeing with Assassin Creed and Anthem.

Well as I have been tought here, a lot of times you can gain a lot more IQ on the effects and models than on the resolution (although the second is easier), so as long as the dev is doing their best it isn't a problem, now it's just to wait and see how much they'll put into X1X version.
