FF VII and Shenmue 3 is totally out of Sony control, it isn't their IP and Death Stranding was revealed with they being very direct saying it was the concept since they just started the game, so they were very clear it was a reveal that would be ways before releasing.

I get that those aren't Sony made games but they must have an idea how far the games are in development. 

I would like it better if they waited to show these games but that's just me. If other people like games being announced early more power to ya.
