Xbox One X is pretty good value, sony made a profit on the ps4 pro if I remember correctly and microsoft isn't on the Xbox One X it also offers a much better memory bus, memory bandwith, amount of memory and the most powerfull processor and cpu in any other console.
All great things and since its an optional console it can't really be to expensive since people not willing to pay this much for a console can just pick up a xbox, ps4 or switch for a lower price.
Its always good to see more options and the xbox one X is really for people who want to play on console and don't want to buy a high end pc or for people who already own an xbox like it and want to spent money to play all their games better.
I was never tempted to buy a ps4 pro since I didn't think it added much and wasn't worth it and many people will feel the same with this console but when I see how many people enjoy/like their ps4 pro I am very happy for these people sony decided to make an upgraded version and I don't feel it impacted by experience on my launch ps4 at all.
