The difference is, you 'upgrade' your console, now you have two! It's cheaper to upgrade your PC though, if you don't go crazy.

It would be great value with another 6 to 10 year support for XbOX, yet what's going to happen with this gens refreshes when next gen starts remains to be seen. Ofcourse the ones buying these refershes don't expect to use them for 6 years, they'll be ready to upgrade again in another 2 or 3 years. The general consumer will simply buy the base version.

Yea I didn't think I'd upgrade but then I decided to sell of my gaming PC and just stick with my PS4. So I got a PS4 pro and selling off my video card and old PS4 will more than cover for it.
