Most can probably agree that linearly it's great value (just as the Pro is), it's whether it offers the type of value its target market want that's up in the air. MS have dedicated the majority of their personal marketing narrative to the X1X for almost a year, so they clearly want it to appeal to more than just hardware enthusiasts looking for a premium product. The question is whether those that currently don't value graphics enough to be invested in PC gaming will look at the X1X and think "Yeah, this is worth $500 to me". If that person already owns an X1, their perceived value has to be even higher.
