I actually agree with Phil: Sony's Reasoning For Blocking Cross-Play Is "Unhealthy,"

At the end of the day MS, is allowing cross play this gen. Regardless of the excuses you want to make to try and make them look bad. There doing something good for the gaming industry and even Nintendo has no issues participating. Sony could have made a better excuse instead the one they gave is poor. Full stop.

PS- I am not sticking up for Xbox's decisions last gen either. Blocking cross play is stupid period. However we are in the 8th gen now not the 7th.

I never said a single word about agreeing with Sony's decision.  Where have I made an excuse?  Go ahead, show me.  I simply pointed out A) you were wrong when you said their previous policy didn't follow them into this gen, and 2) that Spencer isn't doing this for the health of the industry, he's doing it for Microsoft and Xbox.
