One thing about having a premium price. As time goes on and technology improves, the price can always go down.
To me, it's kinda a 2005 Xbox 360 Core/Arcade vs the regular and Elite models. They can advertise having the best versions and power and say "Starting at $250". People won't know that, to get the full advertised experience, it's $500 but you'll get them in the store.
