These comparisons don't really make sense to me all that much anymore. 1. A PC is so much more than just a gaming machine and carries a higher price tag in part because of this. 2. Why would you gimp your PC so much when spending a little more to the price tag will significantly increase the power and abilities?
As a console, the XBX is certainly powerful, and that's great. A PC however is a PC, not a console, it is an entirely different class, and that's great. They are different devices for people with different goals. Don't get caught up on comparisons of this sort.
