There was almost no substance there, to be honest. "We do hear you, we are investing, it's coming eventually, you just have to trust us," is basically what he's saying. I mean, I get what he means about not hyping a game that's two years away but it's not like trust is something given unconditionally. He was the head of first party development, after all, and he bears a good deal of responsibility for where Xbox is now.
I think there is a good case for saying that he has yet to earn that trust.
