This is my Situation-analyse of the third party situation on Switch:
- After the Wii U debacle, very few 3rd party developper were inclined to take a chance by developping an early title for the console.
- Switch's success probably has 3rd parties at least considering the platform for future games. Those games won't be out for at least a year.
- Most gamers with interest in the big AAA 3rd party games of this gen have already purchased a PS4 or an XB1 or a gaming PC.
- Nintendo was never banking on big AAA 3rd party games for the success of the Switch so I don't see this situation as worrying at all.
