Talking about monitors, Ars Technica tried to game on Dell's 8K monitor a few days ago

Suffice to say, not even a couple of GTX 1080Ti cards are able to manage it.
Btw, if you're curious about what an 8K image looks like, there are images of Rise of the Tomb Raider and Metro: Last Light for you to see how they look like.
