| Peh said: I call bullshit on this one. You can set the resolution on the Xbox on how it should output the resolution to the TV. So it upscales/downscales the image inside the Xbox. It doesn't know the TV's resolution. The TV receives the information and does the upscalling/downscaling again depending on the resolution of the TV and the resolution of the Xbox's output and applies post processing features to increase the image quality (If that's activated).
