Which means that there would've been nothing between them and Hodginkson to prevent Hodginkson from killing everyone there without the police. The agents were able to help everyone keep cover until the city and state police came and killed Hodginkson 

I heard it on the news earlier today as it was happening...word for word. Even if I heard it wrong it still isn't a mass shooting as 4 people weren't killed. Time to move on.

Below is the interview. He wasn't commenting about the arbitrary 'mass shooting' statistic. He was talking about what would've happened if the police weren't there. His verbatim phrase was "without them I think everyone would be killed."

But yes, even according to the arbitrary FBI statistic it wouldn't be classified as a "mass-shooting."
