lol what a sad sack of bullshit that explanation was. Reeks of Sony denying PS4 owners the ability to use EA Access as well. If Nintendo of all companies is ok with allowing their community to interact with other platforms then there's really no room for Sony to use this line, even completely fabricated as PR.
The only thing sadder than that excuse is seeing people ITT and others across various forums actually defending Sony. Oh and while people keep bringing up "bubuuu sell more consoles!", we're talking about fucking Minecraft and Rocket League, LOL. It's not as if we're talking about Warhammer Vermintide or something. Somehow I am thinking that Xbone, Switch, and PC userbases on those games can do just fine without access to the PS4 community. Hell Microsoft fucking owns Minecraft, why would they be anything but happy the game sells well on PS4 lol.
