Ask Rockstar. Its well known by now that Rockstar rarely ever comes or shows anything at E3. Just an unrealistic expectation.

TloU2 was obviously not going to be at the show. It was revealed with the words 'super early development'. Next time you see TloU2 is at PSX this year, earliest. I think this is unrealistic to have expected too.

But you do have a legitimate question in Sucker Punch. Its probably a late 2018, 2019 game at this point. Sony probably thought it better not to show reveal it so soon out. But yeah, dissappointing that didnt make it into the show.

then why announce TLoU2 at PSX if its gonna skip E3. bad decision right there.

i know it was confirmed not to be at the show before, but death stranding should have been at this years E3. if they announced a game after 6 months after it started development, they better show it at the E3 when it actually had a year and a half of development time.

Sucker Punch being there was heavily expected. its been 3+ years since they last release a game. its disappointing to not see what they are working on finally.

also i am disappointed that Detroit still has NO RELEASE DATE. that game was announced in 2015!l

y.

The issue is that people expect these megatons every year, no matter when the game is *actually* launching.

Detroit doesn't have a release date, but it was shown WAY too early. If it's coming in 2018 I'd rather they tease us at PSX or The Game Awards than 3+ years in advance at E3

Announcements like FF7 can set the world on fire but what good is it if it's so far away? FFXV, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Dead Island 2 were all shown at E3 2013, and the 1st two aren't coming any time soon. What good is a tease like that when the game isn't releasing for 5+ years??

Death Stranding is far off too, and shouldn't have been announced last year. Sucker Punch is coming, but if it's a late 2018 game then they should save it for next year. Sony should primarily focus on this year and early next year at E3 like MS/ Nintendo. Does it mean fewer bombs? Yeah, but also fewer games like Dreams where we constantly question it's existence because we haven't seen it.
