This is what people have to understand. With the exception of Nintendo, who just launched a new console, we're at a mid generation point with PS4 and Xbox One. Xbox One X could have been a next gen console and could have launched in 2018 with a lower price, but Microsoft chose not to do that. Virtual Reality didn't exactly set the world on fire. That being said, we're at a point where you're going to be seeing a lot of sequels, especially sequels for the new IPs that launched at the beginning of the 8th generation. We've had plenty of E3's like this before.
O guess we'll have to see what Nintendo has in store for us.
