Nothing wrong with indies. Looking forward to Hollow Knight, Steamworld Dig 2, Sonic Mania and Stardew Valley on Nintendo Switch myself.

Microsoft's indie games just weren't very interesting, but then again, neither were the AAA games they showed off.
