Let´s not go that far back in the legal quagmire that software is.
And if you look a little into that case you would see that it has changed/scared Microsoft a lot. Particular in Europe, where they ask you if you want to keep MS Explorer before you even install Windows. Imagine doing that on your Android or iOS.
Keeping on topic, I don´t know how it could be good for Sony to have MP games with no population. It is so wierd that Sony it self alow crossplay with PC in many console exclusives, but blocks it with Xbox platform.
That is a dick move, doesn´t matter how well Playstation is doing.
