Not really. Most of the active community on VGC are Nintendo gamers.
OT: PS1 gave us Metal Gear Solid, Tekken, Resident Evil, some of the best Final Fantasy and JRPGS (and the list goes on). Which was a small part of my childhood. So that..
I did have some major fun with N64 though.. Goldeneye with friends was GOT.
