that would make sense. Graphics whores like myself would willingly pay the premium for better performance, but those who don't care or are more strapped for cash will still have access to the newest games. The main negative to this is phycological. Some people may not be able to afford the premium product, but can not bring themselves to intention buy what they know is an inferior product that still cost them hundreds of dollars and then end up passing or waiting years for price drops.
