The measures would prevent the temperatures from rising more than the point of no return yearly. So, now either the rest of the countries make a bigger effort or we will all fry. Yes, you included if you live long enough. But feel free to keep supporting him. What could go wrong eh?

'The world’s nations had already been struggling to reduce emissions deeply enough to prevent global average temperatures from rising more than 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) above preindustrial levels, the threshold deemed unacceptably risky. The Paris climate deal was meant to provide a structure to ratchet up those efforts over time. Now, the world’s largest economy has clearly stated that it wants no part of that process.

I've never supported Trump (I voted for other candidate and argued against him in GOP primaries), I just don't think he's Hitler.

And the thought that all of the countries in the Paris Accords are going to make a bigger effort than the US to reduce carbon emissions.

I apologise for the comment then.

No, i think the countries all were making their part. When the US refuses to do theirs, wich they themselves set what difference can all the small countries make? It was a very difficult and heroic agreement to make. The US leaving it is presently a death sentence to the world.

I think that the new people beeing born in the future will look back at us and particularly this moment as a moment of infamy that doomed us all, unless of course, the course gets corrected before then.
