when the fake news are actually true. ^^
So, i don't know american law but these things i think are evident:
Trump tried to get a pledge of personal loyalty from Comey, to himself and not his post.
Trump tried to interfere with the michael flynn investigation. People listening at the door most probably heard him too. He knew what he was doing was wrong and that is why he tried to make it a situation where it was word of one against the other. I can't believe the oval office isn't beeing constantly monitored though. Are there really no tapes of this?
Trump tried to get Comey to leak details of the investigation ( him not beeing implied). Failing to do so, he fired him. So, he was coercing him into breaking the law.
So... if this isn't obstruction of justice, i don't know what it is. Trump literally comes across as a mafia boss. Actually it may be more accurate to say he is corrupt and tried to manipulate the investigations and their proceedings. He actually wanted Comey to commit crimes for him, wich looking at how white house officials lie for him in a daily basis, isn't surprising.
This is the problem with Trump though. He thinks he can run a country like a company where he is the boss, but the president isn't the boss. He is a part of the executive and legal structure of the country. He is not a dictator that can go over the rules.
I do hope he gets impeached. Even if Pence is terrible aswell, for the sake of the position of the president of the US this person who doesn't respect it must be made to see that it is a serious position.
With that said... the republicans are a hive of scum and villany so i wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to go down with him and enjoy the ride while they can.
