Tbh things only got less creative since the 1990's so i completely disagree. I think nostalgia is a thing because modern stuff is rehashed, tired and devoid of originality.
Actually the previous decades were alot more easy going, colorful and quite honestly happy. Nowadays everything has to be dark, gritty and dramatic. The vibes it gives you are very different. I do miss the days when things were just silly and light hearted. It put a smile in your face.
With that said... i don't care about clothing fashion. :P That was actually a general comment.
I don't remember ever seeing anyone wear that thing in the first picture though.
