I've encountered problems online as well but I just waited and eventually I got into matches more often. It seems that the problem in my case is that my connection quality is being displayed as 0 bars instead of 5 bars which is what's displayed on my screen. Whenever I get into a tournament, I get kicked off it because of what's displayed on my stats despite me seeing a full 5 bar connection on my screen. A player even commented to kick me off because of my supposed poor connection quality. I know my connection is great because whenever I do get into a match, the match ends up being very smooth and lag free if I end up with someone with 4 bars and up.

Also when it says "connection has been lost" that usually means you got rejected, again probably because of the same problem as mine. So what I do in ranked matches is that I just wait for people to challenge me instead of me choosing the players to challenge myself.

Anyway, this is indeed the best Tekken has ever been in terms of gameplay and its approach to its story mode. Many are unfortunately not familiar with the Tekken story, I think, so they heavily criticize the story(not saying it's great cause it's not. LOL. It's okay and it's very fun to follow for how shallow it is). Tekken 7's story happens directly after the events of Tekken 6 so the objectives of every character who shows up in the story mode is also a continuation of what they did in Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign which I think many didn't bother paying attention to.

I do hope they continue the story on Tekken 7 and not leave it as is like that with that cliffhanger. The season pass needs better content to justify its price. So far it's only cosmetic items, 2 characters, 2 stages, and Tekken Bowl which isn't worth that much. Hopefully, they also add a bit of story to those two characters.

I hope they continue supporting and improving the game for a very long time.
