I highly doubt that the PS5 will release any sooner than 4 years from now.  There is absolutly no pressure on Sony to release it any sooner and the way that the Pro and PS4 is selling why stall that money maker for no apparent advantage.

This gives me confidence to upgrade my x1 to scorpio at least i can play it for 3-5 years without risk of not getting the next xbox and not getting the games come to scorpio.

i was worried it would release and 2 years later the next one comes out to compete with ps5.etc
