MS really not positioning the console for mass market appeal at the moment and there is pretty much nothing they can do to garner any real marketshare this gen. This is way they go the reveal and everything out of the way because its not going to make any real splash except for the hardware Xbox lover. |
They stated they are due for Winter 2017 (was initally planned for Sprint 2017)... Not next year (for PC at least).
The DEV edition is for august tho (pre-ordered it).
I'm actually pretty sure Microsoft is going to demo something this year.
