You do realise we are talking here about long queues 3 months after launch, not about launch or shortly after launch queues!? Evre console have queues at launch or shortly after launch, but rarely some consoles have long queues few months after launch.

Nintendo itself said they undermiasted demand for Switch and they working to increase production, hopefully they will have much more stocks for Splatoon2 launch.

Yes, and the difference is simply this: the other consoles did not have anywhere near as bad production issues.

And as stated above regarding direct comparisons.

Oh look, hundreds of people lining up for the lottery chance to buy a PSVR, FOUR months after it launched.
I guess by your standards that means PSVR is also a runaway success and sony simply cannot keep up with the burning demand for the product huh?

Your point would make sense if Switch is sold or its selling worse than those consolse, but we know that isnt case. Switch still sold better than Wii U, Vita and PS4 in same time frame in any case, and its continue to selling much better on week baseline, and also has long queues 3 months after launch. We don't know if there are bad production issues, its most likely that Nintendo didnt expected so much demand (Nintendo confirmed that) and they need time to increase production.

I don't see point of comparison with PSVR, because with Switch we have numbers that we can compare with other console in same time frame. And Switch  sold solid number in Japan until now and its still selling good, and in next two weeks will hit 1m, while Sony released official statement for PSVR and PSVR sold 1m in whole world for 8 months.

It's very obvious you was totally wrong with your statements "It happens here in Japan with every non-ms console, but who am I to break the narrative", "even happened for the ultra successful WiiU", when it's very obvious that both statements are false, and not you trying to spin them off.
