Sure, if we were all graphics whores. I mean.. have a pretty okay PC that I still play old games on, and with some tinkering around.. I can get them running on the new system.
Which kinda irks me that Sony hasn't really put any effort in emulation this generation. There's a few games that I would like to play on the PS3 that I can't on the PS4.. And its the old stuff like the PSOne classics that should really be on the PS4. PS2 BC would be a nice as well, but not necessary. But yeah, BC would benefit older games in terms of look/gameplay due to the extra power from the new consoles.
Here's hoping the PS5 will at support BC with the PS3 as well as the PS4.
