I'd say Splatoon is an obvious choice.  But I think Team Fortress 2 is a good one.  It's cartoony and not using 'real' guns.  And its free too! :D

Yet still plenty of blood, an Australian guy who hits people with jars of piss, and a constantly intoxicated grenader.

Then Splatoon it is! xD
