Appropos, a remake should sell above 10m no matter HD or not... Every pokemon remake has sold more than 10m! Perhaps, the games of 4th gen in overly superior graphics could sell like a main game, plus that these games are for many people ( including me, I love Platinum ) the best Pokemon games ever.
Third versions sells between 6.5m-8m...So you could be right, that HD version could heple a third version to sel 10m+ for the first time. ( Pokemon yellow doesn't count, it was in the era of Pokemon franchise debut ) |
Well a HD port, remake, stars, whatever could have trouble reaching 10+ million just for fact of supply constraint system.
By the time 10 million pokemon players get a switch, the next game might be getting announced and thus it may not reach 10 million. I mean look at Japan. It has what like 1m switches over there. Hard to sell its usually pokemon numbers when only 1 million potential buyers. Of course pokemon could pull a zelda and have a higher attach ratio than system, lol
But out of all switch owners right now. Not all of them want pokemon. But you can bet a ton of non-switch owners want pokemon. So it would be a battle to get switches in those players hands. Are splatton players pokemon players? Will we have two different crowds fighting for the sames system?
