I've read and seen a lot of it and even though I was skeptical it definitely does seem like a true PB game. In interviews they said how much Gothic is in there and apparently it's alot. I already know which faction I'm definitely going for. The Berserkers are the most Gothic section without all the scifi stuff. They also promised that there is a lot of customization. So while it looks very modern with minimap and stuff you will be able to tweak the game to have a real gothic feel again. I'm definitely pumped, despite the setting. |
Yeah, I turn minimap off by default, if the game alows for it...which means that all quests need have good explanations...well, just like every PB game, so I'm not worried about that.
I pretty much hated that Witcher 3 forced me to play with mini-map due to how bad quest info was (well, at least in Velen, I played Skellige without minimap since land design in Skellige reminded me much more of Gothics).
