Biologically makes no sense to you because you know nothing about the subject and you are looking for easy answer when this could be more complicated, as I said before homosexuality is present in hundreds of species and not only from mammals, if there is absolutely no evolutive benefit then nature would have erased this but it didn't. I am not just looking for an easy answer, and I assure you I know plenty about biology. A lot of the science surrounding homosexuality is still very basic, choppy, and very theoretical, so yes it is more complicated. Obviously I dont understand all the inner workings of it, nobody does, and this is the best way I can think to rationalize it. If some scientist came out with a huge discovery on the science and biology of homosexuality then I would be all for it and be glad to have been proven wrong, but for now there is no such science.

"as I said before homosexuality is present in hundreds of species and not only from mammals"

Im sorry but who are you? I wasnt aware we were having a conversation, i thought I was just sharing my honest thoughts on homosexuality. Oh wait, I was.... Dont just assume that I specifically scanned through every single comment in this thread and happened to read yours before writing this. I dont know who you are, I dont know what you previously said, and I sure as hell did not write that in response to you.

"if there is absolutely no evolutive benefit then nature would have erased this but it didn't"

and right now I dont see any benefit to being homosexual, and if there was a benefit to it, then why arent we all homosexuals? the only thing that would make sense if it was a mutation, but i dont really want to say that due to the limited science backing that up.

"Look at this theory https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsX2vfFNPak"

a loosely based theory from a source I would not call reliable.

I wrote "as I say before" because i was repeating myself and some people do read all comments.

Is not just a mutation, that makes zero sense since is present in other species and has been like that for milions of years, more than enought time for nature to erase it. It may not be a benefit for the individuals but as a species it may be benefitial in some way, just because the reason is not obvious it doen't mean is not there.
