Science is not about facts. Facts change over time as they are themselves an aspect of the social construction of every meaning. The fact of 'gravity' has changed substantially from Newton to Einstein, but the phenomenon indisputably exists (and can be calculated with either Newtonian or Einstainian physics).

Science does not produce Facts, it produces knowledge of verifiable relations between observable and testable phenomena. Einstein does not tell us, for example, any facts (in the rigid sense) about what mass or the speed of light are. It merely tell us how these phenomena interrelate in the cosmos.
