The currency of the left is fake outrage. By all means, keep it up and you'll put trump in office again. While I think your constant "regressive left" propaganda is silly and that "fake outrage" is just as common with the right (you often do it here, actually), I do agree that this story, while decidedly odd, is pretty much meaningless. I very much doubt that Trump calling this person had any influence on his decision making at all. He probably "worked the phones" with right-wing media figures he knew would praise him on the air. There may have been an element of ego in it as well. Also, the Huffington Post is full of absolute crap and I put it in the same pile as many of the shows on Fox News.
I mean, if Trump was going to take advice from anyone in the media, it would be Alex Jones. I'm not sure if I'm kidding or not, which is really scary now that I think about it.
