Sickness makes you cough and sneeze, not cold. And cold doesn't cause sickness.
Sun is stronger in the summer and burns more. You get way faster sunburn in summer than in winter. Also because in winter you can put on clothes to protect from UV, which you can't in summer.
Heat Stroke is a real thing. There is no such thing as a cold stroke.
Let me see you take off more clothes when you're already naked and boiled alive.

Most flats are not built with air conditioning in mind and you cannot just install air conditioning without permission. If I could get air conditioning I would.

The point is, cold is very easily solvable while heat is not and also brings a lot of other problems.

Dunno where you live if it's so hot you're boiling alive. But if you're going for the extremes then at least heat doesn't cause frostbite

Heat can be solved fairly easily as well. Don't do any strenuous activities, poor cold water on yourself, solved! And it's not like cold doesn't bring other problems too, snow and frozen roads can be pretty dangerous!

Sure, that completely drenched body just feels great on my dry couch. What an easy and comfortable way to cool off! Face it, other than expensive air conditioning there is no comfortable way to fight heat. When it's cold I just put on a second layer of clothes and that's it. That way you are always and everywhere warm. Try to have air conditioning wherever you are.
