| Zkuq said: I hear I get more talkative when I drink, but that and losing my balance are the only differences I've personally noticed. Oh, and feeling really bad if I take too much. Drinking doesn't seem to affect my thought process or state of mind almost at all. Mind you, when I said 'drunk', I mean like properly drunk, not a bit tipsy or anything. Getting a bit tipsy has the benefits you mentioned in moderation, but getting beyond that doesn't seem to have any further benefits in my opinion. Whenever I see drunk people, I can't help noticing little things that seem really ridiculous to someone who's sober. It's usually nothing major, but still something I would call more or less ridiculous or stupid. Obviously it doesn't happen with everyone, but I see it really often when people get drunk. That confidence you're talking about sure has an effect. Thus when you're drunk, you obviously don't think of stuff you (or even others) do as stupid. |
That seems a bit strange... you make it sound that there would be nothing wrong if you example were drunk and drove a car :P
And to answer the question, yes I drink. Usually with friends at some party or something. Some months it might be that I don´t drink at all and during some months it might be two or three times when I get at least a little bit drunk. When I drink I usually want to get drunk unless its something good that I want to just drink for the taste, like some nice pale ale or red wine.
