Glad you noticed that, most of the development staff came from the FFXII team.
Plus, there is going to be a 24 man raid called "Return to Ivalice"
Wait, there is more; The Encyclopedia Eorzea describes a state called Dalmasca alongside Doma. Not much is mentioned other than that it is currently annexed by the Garlean empire as mush as Doma is.
Many speculate Dalmasca is hidden somewhere below those clouds in the middle somewhere. This hidden area could be the 5.0 expansion.
