Yep, it's the first thing they'll pass as they make a beeline to Sony and Nintendo's booths.

I think it just shows MS declining interest in Xbox.  Spending less on ads.  Less on 3rd party marketing agreements.  Spending less on 3rd party exclusives, even cancelling many of the future ones.  Focusing on Windows.  Now, spending less on floor space at the largest video game conference.  I think the future of Xbox HW is going to be resting mostly on the Scorpio.  If it fails, a Xbox 2 is definitely going to be in question. Also, I expect to hear about Windows quite a bit at E3, just like last year.
