What I find funnier is the hypocrisy behind how bad Trump is. You all make it sound like everyone here is a saint that wants to save the world from its doom. But you know what? All of us are as much of the problem as Trump and there's no stopping what is happening to the earth because we chose to live a life of commodities and comfort. The only way to stop climate change is to give up the lifestyle you refuse to change. I'm sure most of you go out buy fast food which immediately is the reason why the world is at the stage where it is. You're not better than Trump nor are any of the G7 hypocrites. And unless you choose to live a hermit life, living with what nature provides you in the area where you choose to live, and, get rid of all the material things that you choose to pay for which harm the planet, you will not make a difference.

There was actually a pie chart a few years back that had about 12 programs that combined would be able to halt global changes, and bring emissions back into a sustainable zone. Republicans attacked every single one of these steps and then said stupid shit like, "stopping logging isnt going to affect the climate, china china china".

Power, farming, and manufacturing emissions make up 50%+ of our emissions, and there are many things that can be improved to be more efficient. The main argument against our emissions options are that even if we spend a hundred billion to bring down our emissions by 5%, that 5% is just going to be increased somewhere else in the world by a country that doesn't care.

This is exactly why there are world treaties like this, so that everyone can be on the same page.

The world is changing dude, and every country is trying to maintain this problem. It's now 99.9% of scientists who agree, and 97% of countries who are taking action.
