Have you ever suffered from drug addiction? How did you get out/how are you coping with it?

You know the USA had a famous case of prohibition during the 1920s and 30s and you can see how well that turned out.  Prohibition doesn't solve anything.  How much more money do we have to waste on the "war on drugs" before we realize that it isn't working?  You might as well run a private prison because your line of reasoning is what made USA number one in incarceration.

How do you address drug addictions, homelessness, health degradation, poverty that comes with drug usage?
