And now, part two. If you thought the first post was long, you've seen nothing:

Mass Effect: Andromeda Apex mission briefing hints at the arrival of the Quarians
http://www.pcgamer.com/mass-effect-andromeda-apex-mission-briefing-hints-at-the-arrival-of-the-quarians/
EA may be taking a break from the Mass Effect series, but it's not walking away from Mass Effect: Andromeda. In fact, based on the briefing for Apex mission 08, it sounds like the Quarians, a major race in the original trilogy who did not appear in the new game, may be about to put in an appearance.

Jeff Kaplan acknowledges Overwatch Anniversary Event loot box complaints
http://www.pcgamer.com/jeff-kaplan-acknowledges-overwatch-anniversary-event-loot-box-complaints/
The Overwatch Anniversary Event got underway earlier this week, and sadly, not everyone is happy. The complaints stem from the loot boxes that contain all that sweet anniversary swag—108 pieces in total, which according to Reddit's calculations (via USGamer) cost more than 56,000 credits to buy. That's a lot of credits, especially in comparison to previous events, such as Uprising, which featured 95 items worth a total of 37,000 credits.

Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy episode 2, 'Under Pressure,' is coming in June
http://www.pcgamer.com/telltales-guardians-of-the-galaxy-episode-2-under-pressure-is-coming-in-june/
Episode 1 of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series did not make a super-good impression: "A meandering introduction" to a cast we're already familiar with, we said in our review, and "a poor fit for Telltale's simple quicktime events and stiff dialogue sequences." Can the second episode, entitled "Under Pressure," turn things around? Telltale announced today that June 6 is when we'll find out.

Far Cry 5 will support two-player co-op across the full campaign
http://www.pcgamer.com/far-cry-5-will-support-two-player-co-op-across-the-full-campaign/
A listing for Far Cry 5 that's popped up on Steam has revealed that it will support two-player co-op action against cult leader Joseph Seed and his siblings, the Heralds. And unlike Far Cry 4, where co-operative play was limited to side quests, Ubisoft said the two-player action in Montana will be available across the entire campaign.

Finding Paradise, the sequel to To the Moon, has been delayed
http://www.pcgamer.com/finding-paradise-the-sequel-to-to-the-moon-has-been-delayed/
Finding Paradise, the sequel to the 2011 tear-jerker To the Moon, has been delayed. It was originally expected to be ready for release this summer, but developer Kan Gao announced this week that he's had to push it back to the end of the year.

The Signal from Tölva is getting a free, snowy expansion later this year
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-signal-from-tlva-is-getting-a-free-snowy-expansion-later-this-year/
Robot-based Stalker-like The Signal From Tölva is to get a small expansion later this year, developer Big Robot has announced. Free to everyone that owns the game, it will add "a new campaign scenario on the surface of Tölva", providing "a few more hours of combat and exploration". There'll be "unique secrets and new robo-life"—oh and a nice big dusting of snow as well, as you can see in the above wintry screenshot.

Everspace exits early access, with launch trailer in tow
http://www.pcgamer.com/everspace-exits-early-access-with-launch-trailer-in-tow/
Rockfish Games, the developer of rogue-ish space-'em-up Everspace, announced back in April that the game would break free from the orbit of early access on May 26. However, it actually launched on May 25—24 whole space-hours early. You might be wondering how version 1.0 differs from the early access builds of the game, and if so, you'll be interested to hear that it's added a bunch of trifling features such as "the story". Also, achievements, VR support, and some other tweaks that are perhaps a bit less exciting.

Super Mega Baseball 2 is coming this September, and its new art style looks rad
http://www.pcgamer.com/super-mega-baseball-2-is-coming-this-september-and-its-new-art-style-looks-rad/
Super Mega Baseball 2 takes a more realistic approach to its visuals, while still keeping that charming, cartoony look. In a recent video released by Metalhead Software, the developer talks about the new art style, player animations, and of course, ballparks.

Sonic Mania's release date may have been revealed by its European Steam page
http://www.pcgamer.com/sonic-manias-release-date-may-have-been-revealed-by-its-european-steam-page/
Sonic Mania hearkens back to a day when Sonic games were considered among the best, and that's what makes it look so exciting—though I'm personally not getting my hopes up because that would be a crazy thing to do for a Sonic game in 2017. However, if you're looking forward to playing it, you might be able to do so on August 15.

Rockstar Games has announced new bonuses that GTA Online players will be able to earn until June 12. On top of that, players will also be able to take advantage of some limited time discounts on in-game items.

Sci-fi dungeon crawler StarCrawlers leaves early access
http://www.pcgamer.com/sci-fi-dungeon-crawler-starcrawlers-leaves-early-access/
There have been surprisingly few science fiction RPGs, but we finally have another in the form of Juggernaut Games' StarCrawlers: a grid-based dungeon crawler set in a "gritty spacepunk universe". The game hit Kickstarter back in 2014, and following a fairly lengthy period in early access, StarCrawlers has just launched for real. Look, here it is on GOG, and here's the game on Steam. There's a 25% discount for the first week of sale, which, oh dear, ends in just a couple of days.

Exo One trailer explains how the sci-fi exploration game plays
http://www.pcgamer.com/exo-one-trailer-explains-how-the-spherical-sci-fi-exploration-game-plays/
As I type this, "surreal exoplanetary exploration game" Exo One stands at the precipice, having raised over AU$30,000 of its AU$35,000 Kickstarter goal. It seems more than likely, then, that it will roll over that precipice and into an alien valley beneath, which is neat because that's pretty much the entire point of the game. As I mentioned a month ago, Exo One is seemingly a mixture of physics toy and walking sim, giving you control over a morphing silver ball on a series of beautiful sci-fi planets, while a narrator does some story over the top.

Battlefield 1's May Update to introduce Operation playlists and bayonet nerfs
http://www.pcgamer.com/battlefield-1s-may-update-to-introduce-operation-playlists-and-bayonet-nerfs/
Battlefield 1 developer DICE has revealed Operation playlists and a bunch of tweaks that are coming in the WWI shooter's May update. The announcements were made during a recent livestream, in which DICE went into detail on the changes (via GameSpot).

Friday the 13th's server issues are being fixed, developer says
http://www.pcgamer.com/friday-the-13ths-server-issues-are-being-fixed-developer-says/
Tyler has enjoyed his time with Friday the 13th so far (expect his full review this week), but the multiplayer Jason vs Teens game has not launched in the best state, with plenty of Steam reviews complaining about connection issues and bugs. If this is you, perhaps you'll be mollified by this forum post from developer Illfonic, which explains the problem with the servers (basically, far more players concurrently playing the game than were expected), while going into a bit of detail about the fixes planned.

Possess your enemies in isometric roguelike MidBoss
http://www.pcgamer.com/possess-your-enemies-in-isometric-roguelike-midboss/
Enemies in roguelikes have all the fun. They get to roam around vast dungeons chatting to their similarly evil mates, hoarding gold and equipment, and slapping down the occasional adventurer that wanders foolishly by. I'm intrigued by this roguelike that lets you be the enemy, then, firstly in a lowly imp form, and secondly by possessing your rivals' bodies, and using their demonic powers against their kind. Isometric death labyrinth MidBoss released a few days ago, and its Big Thing is the ability to transform yourself into a variety of monstrous forms.

Jeff Minter's Polybius is coming to PC
http://www.pcgamer.com/jeff-minters-polybius-is-coming-to-pc/
Jeff Minter—maker of Space Giraffe, Tempest 2000, and other psychedelic arcade shoot-'em-ups—has a new game out, named Polybius. Wait, wasn't that the name of the urban legend arcade game that probably never existed back in the 1980s? Yep! But Minter has cheekily borrowed it for the title of his recently released PlayStation VR shmup—which as it turns out will be getting a PC version.
