I could add another thing: Like Ganon was "winning" in the beginning of Breath of the Wild and Wind Waker, Microsoft was winning during the seventh gen, but ultimately ended losing, like Link prevailed in the very end of those games. 

Ganon wasn't winning, he was being bitchslapped, for 100 years, by a girl.
