Increased Switch production was visible in March when they shipped 700k units more than initially planned.

Clearly, you don't know how these things work.

Having 700k additional units for launch month ready isn't a problem when production already started in fall 2016. However, with this surplus of 700k units gone, all following months are entirely dependent on what can be produced in a single month.

If you wonder how I can be certain that the surplus amounted to only 700k units, it's because there were news of units being delivered via air freight to North America. Air freight is costly and thus not used unless it's deemed as necessary.

The 700k was not a surplus. It was a result of them having increased the production. Production increased in January and in May there's still shortages?

As for the air freight to NA, as far as I'm concerned, it's a PR piece.
