The images are interesting. Idk how it'll work since it'll probably be developed mostly by Ubisoft with Nintendo supervising or not being as involved in the development of the game (though most likely publishing).
All I'll say is, we've had doubts with Splatoon, ARMS, Wii Sports, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, etc. I'm not even sure if Super Mario RPG was as highly anticipated before it initially released during its time. I'll wait to see more.
Edit: Also there was Pokemon Conquest. So don't count out these types of games.
